This combination will provide the larger utility with nearly 94,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines, 6.5 million regulated customers and a generating capacity of 33 gigawatts.
The merger remains contingent upon the approval decision expected on December 21, 2018 from the Public Service Commission of South Carolina.
